Education & Learning Pathways
Riyo Learning Pathways provides early literacy support, youth career exploration, and adult GED and ESL preparation. Through guidance, instruction, and mentorship, we support learners of all ages as they build the skills and confidence needed to pursue further education and career opportunities.
This program focuses on:
- Early literacy and reading support through library and community partnerships
- Career exploration and educational exposure for youth, including school and program visits
- GED and ESL preparation with counseling and ongoing academic support for adults
Health Promotion & Wellness
The Health Promotion & Wellness program provides preventive health education and wellness support for refugee and immigrant communities. We focus on health awareness, early prevention, and connecting families to trusted resources through community partnerships.
Employment & Financial Empowerment
The Employment & Financial Empowerment program supports refugee and immigrant individuals in building economic stability through job readiness and financial education. Participants receive guidance and practical tools to prepare for employment and make informed financial decisions.
Program services include:
- Resume building and interview preparation
- Job readiness and workplace expectations support
- Financial literacy education (budgeting, banking, saving, credit)
- Guidance in finding suitable jobs and referrals to employers
Community Navigation & Family Support
The Community Navigation & Family Support program serves as a first point of contact for refugee and immigrant families seeking guidance and support. We provide one-on-one assistance to help families understand and navigate housing, education, employment, and community service systems.
Through referrals, mentorship, and ongoing check-ins, families receive trusted support that reduces barriers, builds confidence, and helps them move forward.
