Riyo Foundation
Walking alongside refugee and immigrant mothers and youth — with health, education, and community.
"Every mother deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported — no matter where she comes from."
Riyo Foundation was born from a simple truth: when mothers thrive and youth are guided, entire communities flourish. We serve refugee and immigrant mothers and young people navigating new systems, new languages, and new lives — offering them not just resources, but belonging.
Our StoryWhat We Do
One-on-one support helping mothers navigate healthcare, education, employment, housing, and community resources — with a dedicated advocate by their side.
Health education, preventive care, nutrition, mental wellness, and community outreach to support healthier mothers, children, and families.
One-on-one mentor matching, college prep, career exploration, and campus tours for refugee youth.
Connecting high school and college students with professionals who have walked the same path. One student. One mentor. One clear path forward.

“Before Riyo, I did not know where to start. They helped me enroll my children in school, find a job, and connect with other mothers who understood my journey.”

“The Leadership Academy gave me confidence I never knew I had. I stood up and spoke in front of 200 people. My mother cried. I cried. Riyo made that possible.”

“Riyo Foundation fills a gap that no other organization in our city was filling. They meet families where they are — with dignity, patience, and real results.”
